Pristine® Water Purification System makes lake, river, or tap water safe for drinking by producing a dilute chlorine dioxide solution. It is 99.9999% effective against bacteria, viruses, and protozoa (cysts/parasites), including Giardia and Cryptosporidium! Pristine® Water Purification System measures the perfect amount for treating smaller volumes of water, such as a water bottle. This set comes with a mixing cap and a resealable pouch to keep your set together while traveling!
For larger volumes of water, such as water jugs at your cabin or while camping, please refer to Pristine® Water Purification System 60ml.
Technical Specifications
• Treats: 99.9999% of bacteria, viruses, and protozoa (cysts/parasites), including Giardia and Cryptosporidium.
Features
• Best for treating small quantities (1 or 2 litres) of water at one time
• 2 x 30 ml bottles include dropper tip and mixing cap
• Ideal for hiking, emergency preparedness, food preparation, and travel
• Resealable, waterproof pouch for longterm storage
Instructions
• 1. Add five (5) drops of Pristine® Part A and five (5) drops of Pristine® Part B to mixing cap provided.
• 2. Let mixture stand for 5 minutes; it will turn bright yellow with a chlorine-like odour (contains no free chlorine).
• 3. Add mixture to one (1) litre bottle of suspect water.
• 4. Mix contents and rinse drinking surfaces with mixture. Let stand for 15 minutes before use.
• 5. Drink!
TO TREAT UNCUT FRUITS & VEGETABLES
• Premix 10 drops of each Part A and Part B per litre of water. Soak for 30 minutes.
TO TREAT FOR CRYPTOSPORIDIUM
• Premix 15 drops of each Part A and Part B per litre of water. Follow specified wait times on Cryptosporidium Chart.
