The Viper HD utilizes Extra-low dispersion (XD™) glass, fully multi-coated XR™ anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces, and multi-layer dielectric prism coatings to enhance resolution and colour fidelity, resulting in crisp, sharp images, while maximize light transmission for clear, bright viewing across the entire optic diameter. Exterior lenses surfaces feature Vortex's ultra-hard ArmorTek® coating to protect against scratches, oil, and dirt. Ultra-smooth, fluid, and sleek helical-style focus, quickly dials in ultra-sharp views, as well as keeps the scope's profile trim for ultimate packability. Eyecups twists up and down and stop at intermediate settings to maximize fit for comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses. A rotating tripod collar aids in finding your target quickly. The Viper HD Spotting Scope is protected by a rubber armour exterior coating; and features a built-in sunshade to reduce glare and shield the objective lens from rain and snow. The scope is O-ring sealed, and argon gas-purged for 100 percent waterproof/fog-proof dependability. Choose from angled body design for an overall lower mounting height, compatible with smaller, lighter tripods; or straight body design for fast target acquisition, and compatibility with car window mounts.
